UC San Diego Bicycle Commute Challenge Begins
Get extra rewards for riding your bike to UCSD during the second Campus Bicycle Commute Challenge. Individuals and teams who log the most miles or save the most carbon dioxide emissions during the four-week challenge, April 20 – May 15, will win prizes, compliments of Commute Solutions.

John Muir “I Pledge” Week Begins

Make a pledge to help the environment and receive instructions and materials to make a hemp bracelet.

Trash Sort
11 a.m. – 1 p.m., Town Square
Students, staff and faculty will witness how many recyclable materials are disposed of on campus through an educational trash sort. Recyclemania results will also be announced.

Prepared with only organic ingredients: Chicken cacciatore, vegetarian eggplant parmesan, pasta with marinara sauce, seasoned vegetables, whole wheat crust pizza
